Shopping With My Sugar Mama
23 Oct
Mary called me and asked me to go shopping with her. She said she needed a dress for some charity event she was hosting. I was more than happy to go with her because maybe she would get me a couple of things too. We went straight to Saks Fifth Avenue, the sales people all knew Mary by name. She tried on several designer dresses. A black, low cut Alexander McQueen, a metallic silver Valentino but my favorite had to be the red, asymmetrical Carolina Herrera. I sneaked a peek at the price tag on the Carolina Herrera and it was $2,190. She ended up getting all three of the dresses in the end. She was so grateful for my input that she bought me a white stainless steel Michael Kors watch and some Armani cologne.
After our shopping adventure we went out for a late lunch to this outdoor cafe. We talked about life and goals. She told me about how she wants to start a charity with her mother for survivors of breast cancer. Her mother was a survivor of breast cancer and Mary told me about how hard it was for her to deal with the aftermath of chemotherapy and ultimately a mastectomy. I told her about my dreams and how I want to own my own antique shop. My grandmother passed down a lot of rare and valuable antiques to me when I was a kid. I’ve kept them throughout the years and started adding to the collection. This was the most in depth we have gotten so far. I felt very comfortable with her.
When lunch ended she drove me home and we made plans to see each other sometime next week. I’m starting to really like Mary but tomorrow I have a personal training session with Lana and I really like her too. I’ll let you know what happens.
